Work Order Creation
From shopwiki
- In general, the fields to be entered are self explanatory
- Notes for Martin's Leave (Jan-July 2015) for Mark Reynolds:
- Project type is of secondary importance, best guess is fine
- Priority is A/B/C/X. Set all to "X" unless Douglas is going to keep this up-to-date.
- Expected duration, remaining duration set to zero
- Status Most important is to close jobs on completion. Correct declaration of status would be helpful for Douglas, nice-to-have.
- Reference WO# is normally left blank. Use to refer back to previous work orders of interest, especially if the current work order is a repeat job with little or no changes
- Set account: the Jones and Madison labs systematically use different speedcharts for labour and material, see Default Speedcharts for Billing
- Contact phone is of secondary importance
- Make extensive use of the Notes text box
- Doug Wong, Pavel Trochtchanovitch and Jon Nakane can be consulted for help on this
