Billing
From shopwiki
The cost of our 3D printing services is based on a few different factors, like the amount of material used and the printing time. It can easily be determined using the excel file "Printing Cost" located on the M: drive in \3D Printer\Documents. The cost is automatically calculated based on a formula. You only need to enter the required information. The amount of material used (in grams) and the printing time is given in Cura after the part has been "Sliced".
For payment, the customer can:
- Pay cash.
- Get charged from our automated payment system (if speedchart is in our system).
- Pay via a Journal Voucher (an invoice must then be sent to them).
To charge a print from our automated payment system:
- On the PHAS Intranet, go in "Forms" followed by "Shops Database".
- If the print is not specific to a Work Order, the print must be charged in "Misc_charges" of the Mechanical Shop.
- Enter the speedchart,
- Then enter the date, a short description like so: 3D Print - XXX, with XXX being the file name of the print, and the cost of the print.
- If the print is specific to a WO, the print must be charged in the "Stock" section of that WO.
